ENTERTAINMENTS.

1923 REVEILLE.

Owing fio numerous requests the spectacular extravaganza now showing at the Municipal Theatre, Napier, will be presented again on Saturday night for the convenience of Hastings people, and those who have been unable to attend the seven nights just presented. Judging by press reports the 1923 Reveille is a colossal production, there being more than 600 different frocks worn at one performance and, successful as the last two productions were, this year’s is considered to be better. There is brighter music, more gorgeous wardrobe, and the scenery is more distinctive. Miss Beeban McDonald. who has been assisting Mr. Lints for the past two years, has established herself as a universal favourite and her work is of a high professional standard. Twenty-seven separate numbers will he staged which will include tbe brilliant stage spectacle “A Human Pack of Cards.” The cream of the 1923 Reveille will be presented. Mr. Shardlow, of Wanganui, who. received such an ovation for his special numbers with drums and effects, will be heard to advantage in the “Turkish Towel Rag” and the “Russian Rag.” There should be a bumper house for the farewell performance. The box plan is now open at Howe Bros.
