SHIPPING STRIKE.
WAUTEMATA’S CREW GIVE NOTICE. Auckland, Jan. 5. The crew of the steamer Waip?mata, which arrived from Calcutta on Wednesday night, gave, notice to-day. The crew will be replaced. The vessel leaves for Wellington to-night. WAIHORA’S MEN OUT. Dunedin, Jan. 5". The seamen of the Waihora gave notice this morning. The vessel was in Eastern waters when the trouble arose. This is her first appearance since in Now Zealand waters.
