A SYDNEY TRAGEDY.

ACQUITTAL OF JENSEN. Sydney, Dec. 9. Jenson, charged with the murder of Sirs. Kearney, in Moore Park, was acquitted.—(A. and N.Z. The fully-clothed body of Mrs. Daisy Maude Kearney, aged 36 years, was dug up in a sand pit in Moore Park on October ,12 last. She had mysteriously disappeared from her lodging on May 12, 1921, and was never seen afterwards. It was evident that her death was caused by brutal battering of the skull. On October 13, John Carl Jensen, an Ultimo carman, was arrested and on the following day he was brought before the Court and later committed for trial.
