STRUCK BY A TRAM.
MAN FATALLY INJURED. Palmerston North, Dec. 11. Alfred Scandlyn, a Manawatu Coun try Council employees, while sanding a tram line this morning, near Ron gotea siding, close to Sanson, wat struck by a tram. His foot was badly crushed and it is believed he also sustained severe internal injuries. Scandlyn died shortly after admission to the hospital.
