SISTINE CHOIR SOLOISTS. Hundreds of disappointed people were turned away from the previous concert ci ven bv this incomparable combination in October hist. Therefore the announcement that the Sistine Choir Soloists are to return to the scene of their former triumph, nnd give just one farewell concert on Friday night, next will be welcomed by music lovers ot Hastings and surrounding districts. The Sistine Choir Soloists have won the highest encomiums from press and public right throughout New Zealand, and it is safe to say no more successful artists have ever visited the Dominion. Musters of vocal and interpretative art on the stage, generous to n degree it not to a fault, and gallant gentlemen oil the stage they have won their way into the hearts of the people in a truly remarkable manner, and one is on sate ground predicting a right royal reception for them on Friday next, when they give their farewell concert prior to their departure for Italy via north orn provincial centres. The programmes for the return visit will be changed nightly and in order that music lovers may hear a favourite number specially requested items, wherever possible, will be given by way of encores. The box plans for the. concert will be opened at Riddell’s on Tuesday next.
