Wellington, December 8. The National Dairy Association has received the following cable from their London office, dated December 7, 1922: — “The butter market has declined to 172/. Do not believe market will decline much lower.’’ London, December 7. Butter: Poor consumptive demand despite the reduction in prices. New Zealand choicest 170 to 171 . Australian 16F to 166/. unsalted about 4/ premium. Present arrivals far exceed the requirements. Retail prices are Ixung reduced -d per lb.
