GERMANY AND THE ALLIES.
THE BAVARIAN INCIDENTS.
(Received 9. 9.45 a.m.) Berlin. December 8. Germany rejected the proposal to submit the question of indemnities from Passau and Ingolstadt to arbitration ; also Bavaria’s proposal to submit the matter to the League of Nations.
The Cabinet will offer excuses for the incidents, pointing out that the reparations asked are so largo that they cannot be paid.—(A. and N.Z.)
