London, Dec. 7. • A total of 742 pages of the original manuscript of Captain Cook’s diary written on board the Endeavour from 1768 to 177 R will be sold at Sotheby’s on March 21.
No private offer will bo entertained previously to this. It was found at Murten Hall, near Middlesborough.—(A. and N.Z.)
