Henry B. Walthall and Pauline Starke play the leading roles in an admirable manner. The second feature on the bill is “Master Man,” starring Frank Keenan, and is a highly entertaining picture. The chapter play, “Robinson Crusoe,” and topical gazettes support. To-morrow's Matinee. “Love’s Boomerang,” a Paramount picture of unequalled excellence is the xeature on the matinee programme to be presented to-morrow afternoon. Anne Forrest and David Powell are the stars. A Sennett comedy, “Robifison Crusoe” serial and the usupl educational gazettes will support. COSY DE LUXE. All the adventure, thrill, mystery, romance and colour that make the novels of Jules Verne, the famous French author, so alluring, entertain and inspire in the Universal Jewel masterpiece, ••Waiting For Dawn,” which will be screened for the last time this evening al the Cosy. Lt is an adaptation of Verne’s “Mathias Sandorf,” and if brimful of the daring and romance contained in the celebrated novel. The beauty and picturcsquencss of Southerv France and of Northern Africa provide the scenic side. A comedy and gazettes support. Matinee Programme. Frank Mayo is starred in “ The Man Who Married His Own Wife,” the feature to be presented at the Cosy matinee. The story concerns the activities of a young man who tried to forget his past and begin life anew. A scenic picture, a comedy and the usual entertaining gazettes will also be shown. DAISY JEROME.
Miss Daisy Jerome has always been anxious to make herself conversant with the many beauties and thermal wonders in New Zealand. Her previous tours have been confined to the four centres of the Dominion, and consequently she has only had passing views of this country. Owing to certain alterations in her New York and London engagements, Miss Jerome has been able to prolong her stay hero for a few extra weeks, and it is her intention to combine business with pleasure in a comprehensive lour of the provincial towns of this country. Local theatre goers arc indeed fortunate-in having an opportunity of seeing and hearing this talented and versatile little lady and she will appear at the Municipal, commencing next Monday for positively two nights only. Tvljss Jerome will be heard in all the Eongs that have made her famous throughout the world.
