EMPIRE RELATIONS.

PARLIAMENTARY ASSOCIATION’S

(Received 7, 1.30,p.m.) London, Dec. 6.

Mr Bonar Law, speaking at the annual meeting of the Empire Parliamentary Association, paid tribute to the value of the association’s work in Imperial relations Its work for the Empire’s welfare was never more needed than nqw. The Dominions could no longer be dictated to for they had attained manhood. There was no special machinery to give them a larger share in the direction of the Empire’s policy, to which they were entitled. Mr Ramsay MacDonald said security in the future must depend on a very large minded series of experiments. They must try to devise new means of meeting old problems. There was no better laboratory in which to study these experiements than in tho selfgoverning Dominions.—(A. and N.Z.).
