At the meeting of the Auckland A. and P. Association it was decided to offer to pay one-third of the cost of securing a complete film of the show, including the pictures of all champion beasts. The completed film will be presented to the Government for use at the British Empire Exhibition. to be held in London. It should be of immense interest to intending emigrants, particularly to those who think that the Dominion is still chiefly inhabited by the Maori race. Kinematograph’s, Ltd., who are taking the film, have agreed to pay one-third of the cost of production, and Mr. J. C. Allum. chairman of the local advisory committee of the British Empire Exhibition, telegraphed to Wellington to-day recommending that the Government pay the balance of one-third and accept the film. In order that the agricultural exhibits of the province are not overlooked in the production of this film, the association has appointed a special steward in connection with the filming.
