Mr. R. C. Wright, being the only candidate nominated was yesterday reelected parents’ representative on the Napier Technical School Board of Managers. The County Council chairman has prepared an official statement setting out the council's position with regard to the old Westshore bridge which he will read at the meeting of local bodies to-morrow. Some of the visitors to the Arbitration Court at Wellington during the hearing of the waterside dispute have apparently- been obtaining much enjoyment from the proceedings, for occasionally they have indulged in loud guffaws. There is no more patient judge on the Bench than Mr. Justice Frazer, but on Tuesday the practice became so pronounced that it drew’ from him the remark, in angry tones, “You people in the back, if there are going to be any more interruptions the lot of you will have to get out. This isn’t a picture show!”
