The “Daily Express” Dublin correspondent states that the Southern Government's secret service seized a remarkable series of confidential letters sent from de Valera to Mrllowes. his confidant, who is imprisoned in Mountjoy. The letters were entrusted to a pretty young Irish girl, isho, when searched, protested that they were love letters, and her sacred confidences were being violated. The secret service men. however, were adamant. The letters showed the chaotic state of the Republican organisation. De A alera admits that he should have repudiated Rorv O’Connor.
