LADIES’ CHAMPIONSHIP. AVanganui. Sept. 26. The ladies’ golf championship was continued to-day, the fourth round being played in dull weather, light rain falling occasionally. Results:— Miss Wright beat Miss Gambrill. 6 and 5: Mrs Guy Williams beat Miss Marchbanks, 3 and 2; Miss Bell beat Mrs McCarthy, 5 and 3; Miss Brown beat Miss Wilson. 4 and 3. To-morrow Miss Wright plays Mrs Williams, and Miss Brown and Miss Bel! meet.
