A meeting of the committee of the Parents’ League ot the Napier Boys’ High School wgs held at Scinde House lasi night. Present:—Mr. C. Douglas (chairman), Mesdames Triggs. Henicy. Appleby and Armour, and Messrs Ashcroii, i’omlinsoii, Bryant. Armour, Thorp. Brown, and Rev. J. A. Ashei. lhe chairman reported on the league’s deputation to the Board of GoVernois of the school, and assured the meeting that much good had resulted. The board welcomed the support of the league in endeavouring to to push on with the planting of the school grounds. Mr. Bryant sought the assistance of the league regarding the Hastings street tramway crossing, suggesting that a representative of the league should accompany a deputation to Wellington.
