rpo STAND THIS SEASON * At IRONGATE FARM, HASTINGS. H.B. The high-class, splendidly pedigreed DRAFT STALLION SILVER PRINCE FJKSSR7 By JA, Bonnia Bu,h| * uie From Silver Princess. SILVER PRINCE, though foaled in the Dominion, was got in Scotland, and is thus virtually an imported horse. The character of the blood that courses in his veins and of the bone and substance that go to his make-up may be judges from the pedigrees of his sire and dam, which, traced back five generations, are as follows: — BONNY BUCHLYVIE (14032) (sold in Scotland for 5,000 guineas), by Baron Buchlyvie (11263) (sold for 9,500 guineas) from Queen of Beauty (14850), by MacGregor (1487) from Ladv Louise (12036), by Prince of Wales (673) from Violet of Portencallie (9508), by Darnley (222) from Primrose (9502). by Tom (877) from Mall I (5893) bv Hercules (378). SILVER PRINCESS, imp. (21371), bv Silver Cup (11184) from Princess Victoria (15779), by Moncreiffe Marquis (9953) from (12252), by Excelsior (5751) from Bet of Skaith (9941), bv Warrior (902) from Lily of Skartn (2625). by Royal Charlie (728). SILVER PRINCE’S fully extended pedigree shows two crosses of that emperor among draft stallions, Baron s Pride. Foaled in 1912, he has proved himself a sure foal-getter, and the number of first honours which his stock have secured in the show-ring—-including the champion mare at last year’s H.B. Show—testifies to the estimation in which they are held by the most competent judges. Standing 17 hands, he is a big. weighty, solid horse, with splendid legs and feet and a great grip of the ground; has a fine, fast, straight, even gait, and is endowed with the very best of equable tempers. FEE: 7 Guineas for first mare, 6 guineas for each other mare. Groomage 5/-. Every care but no responsibility with regard to mares sent. For further particulars apply to W. B. CAMPBELL, Irongate (phone 985; Box 179, Hastings.
