HEAVY LIABILITIES. Auckland, Sept. 19. At a meeting of creditors of Alfred Bevans, commission agent, the bankrupt said his liabilities arose through liquidation of Messrs Bevans and Baker, Ltd., and the Whangare: Freezing Works, and the impossibility ot domg any business during the war. The 'schedule showed £5.875 owing to unsecured creditors and £21.065 to secured creditors. The value of securities was £12,264, leaving a further liability of £B.BOl. and making the total liabilities £14,676. The assets | are given as nil.
