HAVELOCK BOARD ELECTIONS.

(To the Editor.) Sir,—I quite agree with “Elector’s” remarks. Although having been a rather big ratepayer hero for close on two years, T do not know any of the can di dates except Messrs Mossman .Toll and Cooper—one, two and throe, for top place, bar accidents. Jt is only through your paper giving the reports of meetings that I know them. I like dark horses, and if in funds, I generally back them on a small scale. lam sure there would be a big meeting of electors, and no waste of time if all who were standing would meet the clo-’ors on a certain night in Havelock in some hall, and give us their views on the welfare of the borough.—l am, etc., CECIL S. VERNON. Havelock North, Sept. 18. 1922.
