TO ENLIGHTEN AMERICA. ■ ENGLAND’S GREAT WORK FOB HUMANITY. WASHINGTON’S FAILURE IN PEACE. [By Cable.-Press Association.—CoDyrixnt.] (Received 16, 11.35 a.m.) Paris, Sept. 15. M. Clemenceau, in a statement regarding his American tour, said he ’ would feel bound in justice to Britain to devote a large part of his speeches to what that powerful ally accomplished for humanity. He would refrain comment on M. Poincare’s reparation policy, and would say nothing about Allied debts. The main object of his speeches would be to show Amercians that they were wrong in not supporting the Allies in peace as in war.—(A. and N.Z.)
