REBEL ATTACKS IN DUBLIN. (Received 16,11.0 a.m.) Loudon, Sept. 15. Irregulars attaejjed Wellington barracks, Portobello and the telephone exchange at Kingsbridge Station, Dublin. There was heavy firing for three hours. The guards at the exchange turned out, and were assailed by bombs and reDail rejected the proposal to appoint a committee Jo inquire into the postal strike with a view to a settlement. Hailes, postal superintendent at Cork, who was shot on Monday, has died. Other deaths resulted from skirmishes in Cork. Guineas’ brewery offices in. Cork were raided and a largo sum stolen. While a military patrol was passing through Dundalk, a bomb was thrown from an ex-protestant churchyard, and a Free Stater was killed and others were wounded. Irregulars attacked a guard on a bridge in another part of the town. A terrific duel lasted three hours, householders being obliged to lie on the floor to escape flying bullets.
