LABOUR GETTING BUSY. London, Sept. 14. The Labour party is endorsing over 400 candidates for the general election, including 71 out of the 75 present Labour members of the House of Commons. Over 2400 local Labour organisations throughout the country, with which 800 women’s sections, with a membership of 80,000, Mre associated with the trades unions in nominating about half the Parliamentary candidates.
