TROUBLE IN PUNJAB. DEADLOCK REACHED. GOVERNOR VISITS ARYHTSAR. (Received 15, 11.35 a.m.) * Delhi, Sept. 14. The Amritsar position has reached deadlock, but Akhalis bands continue to arrive The Governor of Punjab is hastening to Amritsar to see the situation and to’ confer with leading Sikhs. The disputed land is encircled with barbed wire. It is stated 500 police are concentrated therein. Akhalis attempting to penetrate the barricade were forcibly repulsed. Police seized two lorry loads of provisions proceeding to Gurukbagh.
