B.A.W.R.A.’s stocks of wool on 31st August were:—Australian: Merinos, 160,943 bales; crossbreds 621,111; New Zealand: Merinos, 2,512, crossbreds 416,282; South African; 11,346, making a total of 1,212,194, compared with 1,890,202 a year ago.—(A. and N.Z.)
