FREEZERS’ RECENT STRIKE.
UNION OFFICIALS FINED. MISCHIEF-MAKERS LEFT COUNTRY. Invercargill, Sept. 13. Several freezing workers w r cre before the court charged with becoming parties to a strike. ’ The president and secretary of the union were each fined £6. Three others £5 and several 10s. Inspector Browett stated thrit those chiefly responsible for the strike had Jeft the Dominion.
