WI GILLIES’ ESTATE. A meeting of creditors in the bankrupt estate of Wi Gillies, of Wainiarama, farmer, was called at the Hastings Court-house this (Tuesday) morning, but only two* proved creditors attended. The statement of assets and liabilities showed unsecured creditors amounting to £lO2 9s 3d in the liabilities, and no assets. The bankrupt, under examination by Mr R. He had had horses and dogs, but he had to sell them two years ago to pay his wife’s hospital expenses (£200). He had no land. He had three children, who were being kept by his father. Bankrupt worked for his lather, but he got no money, he was only kept in return for his work. He did not spend money on racing or drink, but he would take a drink if it was offered to him.
