NO PEACE FOR CHINA.
ANOTHER WAR EXPECTED. MILITARISTS’ DOMINATION. Pekin, September 9. China faces another civil war, and the country is on the verge of a new change of Government, which threatens to give the militarists complete control. President Li Yuan Hung expresses great anxiety over the increase in the powers of AJie Military Governor, who now admittedly controls Parliament, every session of which since August 8 has been attended by violence, and the adoption of constitution, which was considered the first step, now appears to be remote. Cabinet members declare that Li Yuan Hung is disheartened and ready to resign.—(A. and N.Z.)
