WAIPUKURAU TOURNEY. .. 7 A SIDE TEAMS. In splendid weather, and before a large attendance of the public, the following 7 aside teams played for the senior and junior cups:— JUNIOR CUP. Wypuk Magpies v. Waipuk Juniors resulted in a win for the juniors by 3 to nil. Hewitson scored for the juniors. Waipukurau "Kiwis” v. Waipawa H. 5.0.8. First resulted in a win for the H. 5.0.8. First by (> to 3. Swain and Hobin scored for H. 5.0.8. First and Stace for ‘‘Kiwis.” In the final H. 5.0.8. First beat Waipukurau Juniors by 9 to nil. Miller kicked a penalty goal and H. Bibby and C. Lewis were the scorer, for H.S.0.8. Firsts. SENIOR CUP. Waipukurau A Seconds v. Takapau. Win for Waipukurau A Seconds by 5 to 3. B. Nicholls scored and converted his try for Waipukurau and Fraser scored for Takapau. Waipawa v. B First,.—The B First, won by 10 to nil. Barry and Mclntyre scored for the B Firsts, Russel converting both tries. Waipawa H. 5.0.8. V. B Seconds. — Ended in a runaway victory for H.S.08. by 10 to nil. W. Bloor (converted by Thorne), J. Hobin, McLean (converted by Anstis), and Dunn were the scorers for H. 5.0.8. Waipukurau A Firsts V. Waipukurau A Seconds. —Resulted in a win for Waipukurau A Seconds by 5 to nil. Dorthwick scored and B. Nickoils converted for Waipukurau A Seconds. H. 5.0.8. v. B Firsts —B Firsts won by Bto 3. Barry (2), one converted by Russell for B Firsts and a try by McLean for H. 5.0.8 In the final Waipuk A Seconds beat Waipuk B. Firsts by 3to nil. McOuinnes scored for the A Seconds right on the call of time. The cup is now won outright by the Waipuk A Seconds.
