AUSTRALIA v. MANAWATU. Palmerston North, July 12. A representative Association match was played to-day between Australia and Manawatu. The visitors showed superior combination, and gave an excellent display. The home team had a fair defence, but were weak in attack. Australia won by 5 goals to nil. The team completed the tour to-day. The tour had been in every way a success. The financial result will lie a profit of approximately £6OO, which will be divided among the associations affiliated to the N.Z.F.A. and that body. The visitors leave by the Moeraki to-morrow (Thursday) afternoon. FIXTURES FOR SATURDAY. The following are the fixtures for Saturday next: — Hastings B v. Napier the Ridge; referee, Rev. O. Gibson.
