SCHOOL COMMITTEE MEETING. (Own corespondentj At the School Committee meeting the following were present: Messrs W. Cuthbertson (chair), A. J. Campbell, F. Gray, W. J. Craig and R. Walters. Apologies were received from Messrs F. A. Thompson and F. H. Hillw?. The headmaster’s report was received and showed that the roll number was 157 and the average 145. It was agreed to recommend to the Education Board that Miss" Jull get two weeks’ sick leave. Correspondence from the Education Board re subsidy was left with the chairman. It was left with Mr. W. J. Craig to get quotations for timber required for garden fence. The visiting committee for the month was appointed and included Messrs W. J. Craig and F. Gray.
