NO ESCAPE FOR ROSS.
FINAL APPEAL REFUSED.
Sydney, April 5. The High Court, by a majority verdict of 4 to 1 refused Ross’ leave to appeal against conviction for the murder of Alma Tirtschke. Mh Justice Isaacs, who dissented, held without hesitation that there should! be a new trial. No other avenue of appeal is now open to Ross. —(A. and N. Z.)
