ANOTHER RECORD LOWERED. Auckland, April 4. Miss Pauline Hoeft swam unpaced 300 yards in 4miu 10 3-5 secs., beating the existing world’s record held by Miss H. James, at Manchester ( by 9 25 secs.
Miss Bleibtrey swam the distance at Sydney in 4min 7 secs, but this has not yet been officially recognised.
