ONE FALLS 90 FEET.
Paris, March 18.
An observation balloon broke from its moorings at the Angers aviation camp, carrying away three men clinging to the ropes. One dropped when a few feet above the ground and escaped uninjured. Another dropped from 90 feet and succumbed to terrible injuries. The balloon carried the third man away, travelling at the rate of 30 miles an hour, and reached a height of 6000 feet. After several hours the balloon was blown back towards Angers and the man dropped into a tree while the balloon was descending, and was Sicked up slightly bruised.—(A. and .Z.)
