BOWLING.

BURTON Cl’ TOURNAMENT. With the District Shield, Pennant and Champion Fours competitions out of the way, bowlers are now actively preparing for the usuAl Easter attraction, the Burton Cup tournament, which is to be played in Napier. There is every indication that the entry will be exceptionally large. It is stated that at least seven teams will be present from Gisborne, while all the Napier and Hastings clubs will be largely represented, in addition to several riiiks from Waipawa and Waipukurau. This trophy i? always keenly competed for, and the coming Easter gathering should witness some very high-class bowling.
