AUSTRALASIANS DEFEAT WIGAN. London, October 15. Alter a. close contest, but poor football except for occasional individual brilliance, Australasia, four goals and two tries, defeated Wigan, three goals. At half-time the scores were Australasia 7, Wigan 4. Over-keenness accounted for tho poorness of the play.— (A. and N.Z.)
