RIFLE SHOOTING.
WAIPUKUEAU DEFENCE CLUB. The above club held their second round in the competition for Mr Oliver’s Rose Bowl at their Mount Vernon range, on Saturday, October 15. There was a fair muster of members, but the weather interfered with the shooting at 300yds. The Deputy President put on the possible at 200 yards, and Rifleman G. Bryce topped the scores with 33 at both ranges off the rifle. The follow-
