RUGBY FOOTBALL.

A GOOD TEAM TOR HAVELOCK. Considerable interest is already being manifested locally in the forthcoming Rugby season, and there are indications that the local club will be able to put a very strong senior team in the field. The club captain, Mr. B. De Castro, who last year played for Hastings only because Havelock could not a senior, team, has already intimated his iaten tion to play for the village, while the cream of last year’s Waimarsma and Havelock teams will also be on hand. In addition two or three players of proved merit are also throwing in their lot with us, so that prospects for a success ful season are decidedly r osy. It is also I anticipated that a good second or third • grade team will also be available.
