CORNWALL PARK ENTRANCE GATES.

[to the editor.] Sir,—The indecision regarding the form that the entrance gates to Cornwall Park will take is sure to end in a muddle. This is generally the result of conflicting opinions. My suggestion, lor what it is worth, is that side walls or wings be built of rugged limestone, the main arch of the same material, wrought iron gates, for centre and sides. Virginia creepers would soon grow over the walls and archway, and the old world effect would be pretty. 'J he Omahu limestone is the right material.—l am, etc., ARTISTIC.
