THE MEAT INDUSTRY.
FREEZING SPACE. LESS ANXIETY. Farmers have not forgotten the difficulties of last year, with reference to freezing space. This was brought about, largely, by the shortage of shipping, and not by the lack of storage. It is considered, by those in a position to know, that there will be no such difficulty this year. Shipping space will he ample, the works will lie able to deal with all the stock offering easily, and the prospects ail go to show that farmers will have no difficulty in this direction, more especially as the works will be cleared of old meat to a much greater extent than was anticipated a very few months ago.
