AN EVIL INSINUATION.
AN ANGLO-FRENCH BARGAIN. INCITING GERMAN HATRED. Berlin. July 22. The insinuation is being carefully spread throughout Germany that a bargain was made between England and France at Germany’s expense, England receiving a free hand in northern Palestine and the Dardanelles and the Mosul petroleum district, France to be permitted to have her own way with Germany, weakening her and tearing her to pieces at leisure.—-(A. and N.Z.)
