(Own Correspondent.) . At a large attended meeting held in the hall on Thursday evening, it was decided to hold a concert and dance on July’ 30th in aid of the band. Lately’ the band have bought several new instruments and their funds are now about exhausted and they still want more, so it was thought that the above was the best means to raise money. Messrs. Whyte, W. Coles, Boyer and Simpson were elected programme com-, inittee and Messrs. Baker and McFarlane dance committee. '
