THE COAL AGREEMENT.
OPPOSITION IN GERMANY. FORTY PER CENT OF INDUSTRIES MAY SUSPEND. (Received 21, 9.15 a.m.) Berlin* July 20. It is understood the Government will encounter considerable opposition from the Empire Economic Council on the coal agreement. Coal experts assert that- forty per cent of German industries. will be suspended if the agreement is carried out.—(A. and N.Z.)
