FIRE AND BURGLARY.

Auckland, July 12. A store in Vauxhall road. Devcnport, was discovered afire on Saturday night during the absence of the oecu’■•ier, Air. J. Knowling and family. The fire was extinguished speedily, but it was found that the premises bad been burglarised and mone- ami jewellery valued at £2O missing. There was evidence of the fire haring been started among kapoc stored in a cupboard. -
