SHOOTING OF IRREGULARS

The Greeks have given the Kemalists a drastic lesson. They executed a great number of prisoners taken after the fall of Balikissar on the ground that the troops are irregular and must be regarded as bandits. Only a hundred were spared for trial. —(A, and N.Z.)
