DRAPERY AND GENERAL IMPORTING COY., LTD.
It was announced some time ago that tlie D.i.C. had purchased for cash the whole of the shares in George and Kersley, Ltd., of Wellington and. Wan ga*nn. To assist in the extension of the company’s business in this and other directions, the directors have de cided to issue at par 125.000 6 per cent cumulative preference shares of £1 each. Preierential consideration in the allotment will ‘be given to present shareholders, both ordinary and preference. and payment must be made in four instalments of 5 - each on agplicatioti. on allotment, on November Jst. 1921'. and on February Ist., 1921. The minimum subscription upon which the directors vill proceed to allotment is 50.000 shares, and no application for less than 50 shares will be entertained. The present capital of the company is £250.0(M) divided into 250.000 ordinary shares of 10- each and 125,000 .preference shares of £1 each.
