LORD FORSTER APPOINTED

Lord Forster, formerly a member of the House of Commons for Seven Oaks, has been appointed Governor-General of Australia. —(A. and N.Z.) [Lord Forster was until recently the Rt. Hon. Henrv William Forster, lie was M.P. for Seven Oaks from IW2. and was Financial Secretary to the War Office from 1915 and a member ol the Arniv Council. He was born in 1X66. a son of Major John Forster. Southend. Lewisham, Kent and Exbury Hants. He married a daughter of Lord Montagu of Bieaulieii, and has two daughters. Ho had a distinguished career as a cricketer, boxing played in Eton XI and Oxford XT, and for Gentlemen v. Plovers.] SOUND ('ONSTITUTIOaALLsT.
