The Ponsonby murder case and the sentence passed upon Dennis Gunn were considered at a meeting of the Executive Council this morning. His Excellency the Governor-General presiding. It was afterwards announced that His Excellency, acting on, anti with the advice of his ministers sees rro reason why the decision of the court should be interfered with.
