LAWYERS AND JUDGE.
|TO THE EDITOR. I
Sir. —I see by- the papers that the
" 1 ington Law " Society is taking a very strong aitituile with reference to tne' conduct ot a certain judge. Can I you tell me if tills action is dictated by ii l.iie of fair play and the desire y of righting, so far as possible, the person or person* who may have suffered at the hands of this judge, or whether it is simply a wi-h to get rid of a man who is preventing the smooth running ot tiie legal machine.' Unfortunately lio question of lega'. etiquette is invoh,d and no doubt the matter will'be kept a private ope so lar as the public i.-, concerned. 1 trust that before long the wo.-d "in camera’ except in the r-.i-e ol indecent ofteu<>>, will be ttnKuo.tn. — 1 am, etc., JUSTICE.
