AMENDMENT TO AWARD

Dunedin, June 14. An order by the Arbitration Court amending the New Zealand factory clothing trade award has been filed. Tailoresses have been granted a bonus of 5/- per week, cutters, pressers and male machinists are awarded a bonus of 2Jd. per hour; male apprentices received a bonus in addition of the 3/a. week. The court added the following memorandum: “The union sought in this application to have the basic wages reviewed by the court but this court declines to do so, leaving the matter to be considered upon an application for a new award.”
