MISCELLANEOUS CABLES.
A British tug towing a German steamer from Christiania to Hamburg was mined at Terschelling. Sixteen men were drowned out of 22. The Unionist Party at the annual conference at Birmingham passed a resolution declaring that Germane owes the British Empire its share of the full cost of the war and the conference expects the Government to secure payment.
