MOTOR OVERTURNS.
RETURNED SOLDIER KILLED.
, Christchurch, May 29. Sydney Small, a returned soldier, uho was in Christchurch on his honeymoon from Invercargill, was killed yesterday afternoon by the overturning of a motor car on the road at Bromlev. I here were several men in the car and m a sharp turn of the road the steering gear locked and the driver, MrCnnsland, could not turn the car. It overturned and all the occupants were pinned beneath the ear. Small was killed instantaneously and McCausland sei I'rel.j cut about the legs. The others escaped with a few scratches.
